Viva Las Vegas

On Tuesday 18th of November Nisrine and me were ready to take off to one of the biggest linedance events of the U.S.A, the Vegas Dance Explosion. Leaving from Amsterdam we flew to Chigago airport and from there, a domesic fligh to Las Vegas, where we took a shuttle bus to the Riviera Hotel, where Doug & Jackie Miranda's dance event was held. It was an amazing event with hundreds and hundreds of enthusiastic line dancers. We had a hart warming welcome from all of the Americain line dancers, what a great crowd! After teaching classes on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saurday and Sunday, (1,2,3, Summertime, Bleeding love, Framed, I love you because, Respect andMr. Policeman) Nisrine and me did a demo on Sunday evening which was well appreciated by the lovely crowd. We met up wih some dear linedance choreographics and friends: Guyton, Wil, Rachel, Paul, the Kinsers, Max, Kathy, Philip, George (Louis, haha) and many more.
As well it was good to meet up again with the Grrrowler. (Best wishes to Maureen) A great event it was. The city itself was unforgettable, a city that never sleeps! The strip, the amazing hotel and of course Poker texas hold 'em. I want to thank everybody for this great event and that we had the chance of meeting all these nice linedancers. Hope to be back next year!
